Kristi from Studio Collective for Performing Arts in California, booked a Squarespace Power Hour with me as she was looking for help with refining her website aesthetics plus some additional updates.
The standard Squarespace templates make it super easy to get a website up and running fast, but to make a website truly fit your business aesthetically, takes a little bit of work. Breaking away from the template really makes a difference in how professional and trustworthy your business and website appear to potential clients!
I took the Studio Collective brand colour palette and incorporated more of that throughout the website on buttons, the announcement bar, text and so on, to get away from the standard black of the Squarespace template. I also refined the typography to make it easier to read, more visually appealing, and with a better hierarchical structure - all important factors for SEO!

By making some subtle but powerful changes you can really change the look and feel of your website quickly and end up with a much more professional on-brand result.
